A DIG DUG LCD tabletop game was produced in 1982 by Gakken and released in Japan, being part of their line of LCD arcade games, alongside Konami's Amidar and Jungler. The game is loosely based on that on the original, where the player must defeat all of the enemies on each screen. Due to hardware limitations, Taizo Hori was instead given a flamethrower instead of a pump, with Pookas being the only enemies. Fygars and Rocks are not present, and neither are Vegetable treats or a multiplayer mode.
